Assessment Types
Below you can see the various levels of assessment that we are able to offer along with the cost and duration of each assessment. Don't worry if you are unsure, no payment is taken at this point. When you submit the booking form a member of our team will get in touch to confirm all the details.
30 minute virtual assessment
The virtual assessment is a 30 minute consultation to cover a basic hands off assessment and for us to be able to diagnose and prescribe appropriate treatments such as stock orthoses, exercises and lifestyle advice.
- Helps to find underlying problems
- Helps you understand the level of treatment you need (if any)
- Helps you briefly understand your pain or condition
Cost: £30 (Assessment only)
Duration: 30 Minutes
Level 1 appointment 30 minutes, face to face.
The Level 1 appointment is a basic assessment suitable for orthoses review, assessment of stock orthoses, stock insoles, stock adult and paediatric footwear. This assessment has a focus on understanding the challenges you face, or pain you are in and formulating a treatment plan to help you improve.
Duration: 30 Minutes Cost: £60
Level 2 appointment
The Level 2 biomechanics assessment has all the features of the Level 1 however, we carry out treadmill and pressure plate analysis to assess your gait if required for bespoke insole prescription. This assessment can also be used for Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO) assessment and casting, measure and casting for bespoke footwear
- Level 1 assessment plus:
- Treadmill force plate analysis and gait report (if appropriate)
Duration: 1 Hour Cost: £120
Bespoke orthotics Cost £199.
(Can be paid over 12-months at zero % interest.)
Level 3 Appointment
The Level 3 assessment involves all the assessment techniques used in the Level 1 & 2 assessments plus the use of high-speed motion capture and in shoe pressure measurements if required. Use this for Knee Ankle Foot Orthoses (KAFO) assess, design and prescribe, athletes of all levels looking for in depth running and walking gait analysis.
Level 1 & 2 assessments plus:
- Quintec high speed motion analysis including a copy for you to access via the free Quintec player.
- In shoe pressure analysis via Xsensor
Duration 2 Hours Cost: £199
Bespoke orthotics Cost £199.
